Preparation

Kati cup, 3g of tea, 10oz of 212 F water, steep 3.5 minutes.

Appearance

Burnt sugar, visibility is less than an inch into the cup.

Smell

Unsweetened apple cider. Definitely more than just juice, the spices are at play here. Smells like the stuff my mom and one of my sisters used to like growing up.

Taste

Definitely reminds you that it’s not sweet at all, haha. Really can only taste a bitter black tea flavor. Maybe a really subtle clove flavor at the end, but it’s not a pleasant one.

Multiple Steeps

Black tea and clove flavor are more mellow, but with that comes more “water” flavor”
